SINCERITY IS NOT ALWAYS SUFFICIENT

Too many times folks remain entrenched within the walls of personal wounding and never really experience HEALING AND REAL DELIVERANCE. Many will come around and very honestly want to help…..to somehow be a real friend….And yet their SINCERITY seems to fall short.
Much of the THERAPY today usually follows the road marked, “SCIENCE and MENTAL BEHAVIOR,” BUT the real issue is totally missed….for the REAL WOUNDING IS DEEPER, IT IS SPIRITUAL.
When any person sins…fails…or is injured emotionally………..the way back to wholeness must go beyond the art called PSYCHOLOGY. We are all like a forest of GREAT REDWOODS…..looking great, but within the record of the RINGS, THE REAL STORY LIES.
We must all expect STORMS TO ATTACK. For the taller the trees, the greater force of wind will be felt along with the most powerful lightning. As we grow up in the LORD, we will become the focal point of the WORK KINDS OF RESENTMENTS, … PETTY JEALOUSIES…AND VARIOUS PERSONAL ATTACKS.
As various trees are often SCORCHED by various fires, so the REAL BELIEVER has been told by JESUS, “Fiery tests, persecutions and trial will come.”
We have been promised, “OFFENSES MUST COME,” and all of us must maintain SPIRITUAL POWER in order not to get bitter or allow some situation in our past TO BRING US DOWN because something didn’t HEAL.
OUR WILLINGNESS TO ALLOW OUR ADVERSITIES TO STREGTHEN US AND ALSO TO FORGIVE THOSE WHO PERSECUTED US...... IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR SUCCESSFUL CHRISTIAN LIVING.
We are told to watch for ANY ROOT OF BITTERNESS to grow, for shortly it will not stay buried, but burst through and injure many besides the original person.
God has equipped each of us with ample abilities to WEATHER LIFE AND STORMS, but we must apply ourselves and use those HOLY PROVISIONS …
We should not fear attack, ONLY FEAR OUR UNWILLINGNESS TO HEAL.
